Art, a Captain with the
City of Hemet Fire Dept., started collecting Road Champs then eventually
Code 3’s. He soon started trading his doubles on the Internet to help pay
for his quickly building collection. The shop maintains an e-commerce site at www.fireandcopshop.com The Fire and Cop Shop are dealers for Code 3 Collectibles, Boley, Corgi, First Gear and other manufacturers. "People come from all over to see our die-cast replicas" said co-owner Teri, a Registered Nurse, who has taken time off to help run the shop. The Fire and Cop Shop is located at 24070 Postal Ave Moreno Valley, CA 92553. Just off the 60 freeway, Moreno Valley is approx. 45 miles East of Disneyland and 44 miles West of Palm Springs in Southern California. Store hours are 10am to 5pm Monday through Saturday, Closed Sundays. Orders can be placed 24/7 on their Web site www.fireandcopshop.com The shop employs 3 employees. "Customer service is extremely important to us. We try to get every internet order out within 24 hours and make sure all of our in-store customers get all the attention they deserve. It really takes team work and we have a great team here" said Teri. Richard Krom, owner of Road Blockers, certainly agrees their customer service is hard to beat! Richard says “Art and Teri are great people to deal with!”
Art says "We are continually looking for new and exciting products to add to our store. We also have several exclusives were working on" The couple has plans to open several more stores over the next few years. The Fire and Cop Shop will celebrate it's second anniversary by holding a special Customer Appreciation Open House: Saturday, September 16th from 6pm till ? The evening will feature: fire apparatus, food, fun and several representatives from the die-cast industry. Everyone is invited to attend.
