Plastic Display Boxes at Michael’s Stores

            One of the articles that’s been on this site for some time mentions some nice display cabinets and shelves available at Michael’s arts and crafts stores.  Another product I’ve found at Michael’s is also very useful for displaying individual models.  It’s a simple plastic box with a removable base (or back, depending on how you display it).  These inexpensive ($2) plastic boxes come in several sizes, and one of them is ideal for displaying models up to 1:24th scale.

            The photo shows several different models in scales ranging from 1:64th to 1:24th displayed in the boxes.  When selecting these boxes, be sure you check them carefully to ensure there are no scratches (they’re plastic, not acrylic).  They are very attractive and easy to clean – by the way, did I mention they’re CHEAP?
