Fire Open Kit Bash

This is a Peterbuilt diecast cab and chassis from Jada.  The other parts are as follows:

• Body constructed from Evergreen sheet styrene and other parts
• Chimmeyville decals and rescue decal from a local custom shop
• Door locks are from sew-on-snaps
• The front winch is made from a hose reel off a Monogram fire truck
• Back door is made from a New Ray ambulance and step from a Monogram fire truck.  The door is recessed into the body.
• Red, clear and yellow lights are form Hobby Lobby, Red light is off a New Ray Ambulance.

• This vehicle started as a New Ray Rescue Series Ladder
• Evergreen Sheet Styrene and 1:32 ladders were used to make the body
• Hand and roof rails made using scrap metal
• Classic Metal Works light
• Don Mills diamond plate
• Ladder is off another New Ray vehicle.  Controls are scratch built.

This is a Kenworth cab chassis from a New Ray wrecker.  The other parts are as follows:

• Classic Metal Works red light and AMT rear lights from long ago
• Don Mills gauges and diamond plate
• AMT Peterbuilt 359 sleeper, grab handles and right side gas tank step
• Evergreen sheet styrene
• Floodlights and ladder from Monogram fire truck
• Black hoses are mode from hard plastic straw

A re-decaling of a Code 3 Diamond Plate 2 model to represent Chicago Fire Department Engine 123. In addition to changing the company markings I also did the following-
Added decals showing the US flag on the cab, "We're there when you need us" on the rear crew doors, company number of the skull protector, fleet number on the front doors
Added a deck gun stand,
Added a rolled up hose bed cover
Painted the ground ladder a more realistic silver and added a more realistic extending rope
Painted the front bumper LDH straps a more real colour
Remodelled the front wheels to represent steel rims
Added a flag on the rear of the body (double sided decal)
Changed the name plate on the stand.

This kitbash was created with the NYPD Mack MR and the current membership tanker from Code 3. It was made to represent a fictional department which I called "Riverglenn Fire Department". It has multiple lighting units on it. a federal Q siren a lightbar from the Chicago Freightliner and most of the decals were custom made by me.
