I don't want to be a nit-picker but before I contact them, I was wondering if anyone else received an Engine 113 or 17 with a white outline on the pump panels. The grill and headlight being slightly off is probably a one timer but I wonder if the white outline is on all the models. I put arrows in the pictures showing the white outline. On the front of the engine if you compare the number 113 with the grill you will see the slight drop to the officer's side.
I contacted Nicholas for you, You can return this him if your not satisfied with the model for a refund. So you just need to contact him.
Thank you for your help, but I think I'll keep the model, imperfections and all since it is not replaceable. I hope this is a one time problem with Fire Replicas and not a sign of things to come as one person alluded to. Looking forward to the rumored CFD FWD tiller, but will have to wait and see.

For the front end I would agree the grill is slightly skewed again these are hand made so something slightly skewed can happen. You really should just contact Fire Replicas.

The rigs carried shop numbers D372 through D377 and were assigned to Engines 8, 22, 49, 73, 106, 113, and 129. These rigs ran front line from 71 to the mid 80’s and became shop spares. In 1990 these engines were refurbished by Able Fire Equipment using a Ranger Glider 4 door cab and the rear compartments were E-one. Able was the E-one dealer in the Chicago area.

Only 6 of the 7 were refurbished. After the engines were refurbished they were assigned to Engines 122, 69, 113, 46, 14, and 34. The engines continued in service for a few years. Engine 34 lasted the longest until 1998.

Engine 113 SOLD OUT in 5 days, Engine 17 is about to sell out. Don't wait to get your very own engine 17.
