Well, this is certainly a different technique! I've never seen this method before to this level of detail. Very interesting, Everything we all do is an art form, in one way or another. Thank you for sharing it!
Thank you very much! Like I said before, I have a better idea to make it look better for my next one. I will post the in-progress photos of that one as well!

Really nice work. You obviously have a lot of talent, being able to draw all that. Keep it up...You're keeping a dying hobby alive.
Thank you! Just so you know, I didn't draw that. I got it from the http://www.piercemfg.com website and then printed the blue prints and pasted it on the cut out foam board piece of the truck. That way it would guide me for the painting part. ;).

Also, for my next rig, I am thinking it will be a lot better because I have a better plan to make it. So keep watch for that trucks updates. I will also try to make it so the wheels roll. If you have any tips or tricks, let me know!

I thought of a great idea to build smaller scale fire trucks out of foam board. I am in the process of painting the emergency lights, head lights, and turn signals of one. It is my very first rig so it does not look very good at all and I don't think it will turn out looking good either. :( I have a better idea for my next one, and I will try to make the wheels turn on my next one as well. I will post my progress as I get further along.

Also, I wanted to make something that wouldn't cost me very much so I just used what I had. I might buy some stuff for my next one, not sure yet.

If you have any tips, that would be GREAT! I am having a little trouble of figuring out how to make the top. There are a few curves or bends on the top and foam board doesn't bend to well. Let me know what you think ;)
