Another great job, Joe! Do you mean the entire body of the Broward model has a wrap on it? If so, how did you go about getting it off?
Mark,
Yes, and the rear windows as well, I got a wrap off of the Miami-Dade, and Ashburn with testers dried paint remover, my guess on that Broward it would be a bear with all the roll up doors. I also have seen people just paint over the wrap, bottom line in my option those are not really the best trucks for a bash.

How long would this ladder be in inches?

My goal was to just change out the turntable, and ladder’s. The Broward did pry off at the turn table, while Savage is screwed in from the bottom inside the frame of the body into the turn table. The stainless steel ladder on the trucks are also screw in to the body from the top of the ladder rungs.

Once I got the ladders off, I removed most of the decals from the Savage tuck so I could give it a new name. The Broward truck and basket are done with a wrap, so the decals would now come off the basket or ladder board. I covered the basket with a medium red decal that matches the paint job on the truck, the ladder boards repainted with Krylon Banner Red, again very close to the paint color on the truck.

I added some decals from InQuarters, and various ones I had in my stash. This MVFD has Mighty Mouse on the ladder board emblem, the trucks nickname Big Red. Just some fun with imagination, and great Fire Replicas models to use as base trucks to reconfigure.
