The department also has a number of specialized units, including Air 3 (Bell 412), Dive Team (Dodge 2500/trailer) and Marine Unit (Ford F150/boat). The last two photos show group shots of the two tower ladders and three medic ambulances. Much more to come as I find the time to build them.

Station 10 is currently under construction and will hopefully be done soon. Apparatus housed there include Engine 10 (E-One Typhoon) and Tanker 10 (Mack R). I neglected to take a separate photo of E10, but its shown below (second from the right) with all of the current engines.

Station 11 is another custom-painted and inscribed release from Swiss Dog Studios. Apparatus housed here include Medic 11 (International/Braun) and Engine 11 (Ferrara). A Deluge Unit is currently under construction and will likely be housed here as well.

Station 9 is also a new release from Swiss Dog Studios that replicates what is perhaps the best-known fire station in the world thanks to the hit 70's tv show "Emergency!" I also had this one custom-painted in a lighter brick color and inscribed for the department. Station 9 houses Medic 9 (F350/Horton), Engine 9 (Pierce Dash) and Brush 9 (ex-military). A tanker will be added to the station soon.

Station 8 was custom-built by Twin Whistle a couple of years ago and is home to Medic 8 (FL M2), Engine 8 (Pierce Quantum), Ladder 8 (Pierce Lance), Air Supply 8 (International/Hackney), Battalion 3 (Ford F150), and the Parade Engine (Mack C). The department's Arson Unit also has its office here.

Moose Lake Fire-Rescue Fleet - 1/64

Sunny skies this week in Connecticut afforded me the opportunity to get my entire Moose Lake fleet outside for photos - everything is 1/64 scale.

First up, our new Station 7 and its apparatus built to date. The station is a new release from Swiss Dog Studios and was custom-painted and inscribed as the headquarters building for the department. This thing is big, and such an excellent design from the growing line of Swiss Dog buildings. Shown with it are apparatus quartered there - Mobile Command (Prevost X45), Ladder 7 (Pierce Enforcer) and Heavy Rescue 7 (Pierce Arrow XT). Additional apparatus will be joining this station including an Engine, Medic Ambulance, and Battalion Chief.
