Mine finally arrived today. Very nice piece. A flyer in the box shows the upcoming Chevy Ambulance & Crown E-51 (1/50), & lists a 1/50 model of the firehouse. The firehouse will be too large to end up here, but looking forward to the Crown & Ambulance.

Awesome Diecast is now shipping the Iconic Replicas E-51 Ward LaFrance.

I saw the mirrors & spotlights & thought it was 1/43. Looks great.

Ran across this from Menards, a 1:48 scale 1956 Ford COE diecast pumper. SKU 2759008, price $6.00. Strangely lettered as "Ladder 17". Looks like the making of a good kit bash. Has anyone attempted to remove the markings from the Iconic Replicas "Emergency!" Squad 51? I hoping they come off easily with the old non-acetone nail polish remover technique & no paint damage. Without the "shops" open here, repainting is out & "trial & error" is undesirable. LOL

Not bad looking. I wish the hose loads weren't molded plastic, I already have the Fire Replica's version, and after seeing their version, it's hard not to see the lack of small details. I hope it sells well for them though. The photos are marked pre-production samples, so we'll see how it works out...
