Looks sharp. How did you attach the spotlight?
I use the metal spots from policecarmodels.com and drill a tiny hole with my Dremel

Re: LAPD 1991 Chevy caprice 9C1 in 1/25 scale
Your scale model looks nice, but the 1992 Caprice in your photo is a movie car . It is not a real LAPD vehicle. They were having severe budget issues in the early 90s and to cut costs, the city did not buy new patrol cars for several years. They started getting new vehicles again in 1994. They were ...

Some of my police car builds - Cleveland Police 1978 Ford
This was a release by Missing Link Resins in 2011. I did this as a replica to the full size restoration built by Greg Savernik which is presently part of the Cleveland Police Museum's Vintage Fleet. I donated the model to the Cleveland Police Museum where it is on display today. In all honesty, I wa...

Re: Some of my police car builds - IL SP Bicentennial 1974 Monaco 1/18
The Bicentennial markings were also used by Hollywood film makers for their prop police cars in the 1976 comedy "Silver Streak" with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor, which took place in IL

Some of my police car builds - IL SP Bicentennial 1974 Monaco 1/18
In 1976, the nation's bicentennial was all the rage. Many police agencies were adding little patriot stickers to their vehicles to honor the USA's big 200th birthday. The IL State Police didn't want to feel left out, so they created this red, white and blue reflective striped version of their normal...

Some of my police car builds - 1966 Chevy
This was a 2dr resin kit ( I don't recall the manufacturer) that was converted with the help of master modeler and friend Dave Neuman into a 4dr BelAir sedan and finished as a replica of my first restored antique police car project. https://media.fotki.com/2vdZshCxQkPi.jpg https://media.fotki.com/2v...

Re: Some of my police car builds - 1974 Dodge Monaco
Is that the Mars bar from the Monogram Cop Out kit? The Mars light bar was built from scratch back in the mid 90s by a pen pal friend that I traded police car & model car photos with. This was in the days before the Internet. For the life of me, I don't recall his name. All I remember is that he li...
