Re: LA Engine 51 by Iconic
Just amazing that he keeps perpetuating the myth that resin models will "melt" in hotter temperatures. With that said, his 1/64th scale KME model looks extremely promising!

Mike,
He’s a salesman pushing his product, should you be surprised?
That said I agree the IR KME looks to hold some good hope for us collectors!

The Iconic KME look to be listed at $100.00, and the model itself looks more accurate and prototypical then the Frontier. Come to think of it, it’s been almost a year since Frontier opened orders and I’ve yet to hear of anyone receive or reviewing one?

I wouldn't bet on getting one of the models from Frontier.

Re: LA Engine 51 by Iconic
Mine finally arrived today. Very nice piece. A flyer in the box shows the upcoming Chevy Ambulance & Crown E-51 (1/50), & lists a 1/50 model of the firehouse. The firehouse will be too large to end up here, but looking forward to the Crown & Ambulance.

Re: LA Engine 51 by Iconic
Thanks for the pictures. I always like to see the "real" thing instead of the pre-production photos.
