Made famous in the TV show Emergency, Neo has announced plans to release a 1970 Chevrolet Suburban ambulance built by Stoner. This is a stunning model, sure to sell out very quickly. It will be available from your favorite retailer this fall. I will post some detail photos soon.

It is 1:43 scale. I have the window treatment and license plates ready for my next decal sheet. They should hit about the same time. The Emergency rig did not have tunnel lights on the front, it had twin beacons and a B&M siren. The beacons are available, and some close enough sirens. The side high roof had a single red light on the Emergency rig, instead of the twin scene lights. So in order to do the correct Emergency rig, you will have to strip and do some body work. Not all that hard for the experienced modeler. You can use FRR parts for the front cowl lights and rear loading lights as well. My sample does not have a stretcher, I do not know if the production piece will, but I assume so. Overall, this model is quite stunning. I can find no flaws in the paint, and fit and finish is about as good as you can get. Mine suffered a broken mirror, when the front came off of the mounting base in transit. It was an easy fix. Notice the four bulbs in the rotator. They did not miss much, and seemed to capture everything from the real rig. There will be another version following this one.

That is great. I will be adding it for sure. Even if not a fully correct Emergency rig it is just too nice to pass up.
