How is it supposed to work? Can anyone bid? If you win, is it shipping to you or do you have to pick it up?
Thanks.

Completely agree, Larry was very passionate about this hobby. Sad to see stuff he had collected over the years up for auction. On a side note, is it bad that I am having a hard time finding something I don't have?

I had the exact same thoughts. Maybe it is time to thin out my collection instead of leaving the tedious chore to my wife. It's like they say, you can't take it with you. It's too bad Larry's collection could not have been some how saved and displayed for others to enjoy, but the financial aspects probably precluded that from happening.

Brad,
I kinda wondered that myself, I did not see anything I really wanted, I really thought he had some more unique items, maybe someone knew which ones to hold to the side.
What's even more sad is some of these could sell for small amounts because people already have them.

i looked at the photos and came across an item that brought back childhood memories. The Remco rescue chinook helecopter.

Some sad news, I have been watching a few other boards with people who bought items reporting several issues and broken parts. Sounds like the Auction house was not kind with packing items, up several people are getting some trashed trucks, even people who purchase trucks with the original packaging, where blow away when they found that the foam inserts were just jammed back on the trucks the wrong way. Definitely not what Larry would have wanted.
