Gray seems to be the latest fad of colors on Fire Trucks, I guess cause there's fifty shades of it. I had someone who asked me if I could help them with a Gray over Red paint job, so I figured I should try it out of something I have first. This was going to be be a White over Yellow, glad I did it this way, I like the gray top.

Started out as a Fire Replicas OHare engine. No town name yet. Once the decals were off I took the truck off the base to paint it, after the paint dry it goes back on the base to have the parts put back on, with a few minor tweaks. This was the best cab to get windows off and on!

Now I need to dream up a department name

There is actually a Gray, Ga. Fire Department that in fact has yellow rigs. Maybe you will inspire them?
