Picked up mine at the local post office last week, another outstanding piece! Hope they continue to produce a couple of vintage rigs a year. FR did a great job of replicating the look of Wood ladders, both aerial and ground. One minor detail. I believe the aerial extension - retraction cables were steel. On the model the cable is black thread. All in all, a great piece! I wish they would make the display cases a little smaller, they take up a lot of shelf space, I need to build some more.

I got mine as well. The cables are made with string since it's the closet thing they can use to match a cable in the scale, same thing was used on the 70's Seagrave ladder's. I was impressed with the handrails on the main ladder that was metal as were the eyelets. I am going to be changing the number on mine to 21 which was the truck near the house i lived in growing up and they had this model.
I do agree about the size of the cases.
Yes we will see lots of vintage this year again

Website shows only 11 remain of the 300 produced. Of the hundreds of models in my collection, this is the centerpiece. Grab one while you still can.
