Yes, I have seen them at hobby lobby, it's a kit made of photo-etch. Maybe 1/72 scale. I passed on it

They are little kits of photoetched thin metal sheets. Not really in a scale I don't think, But not very realistic so I passed on it as well. I saw it hobby lobby.

I saw this on line some time ago. I have been looking at Hobby Lobby for it for some time. I have yet to find one. I want just the ladder section for HO scale trucks.

The good thing about Hobby Lobby is that you can go online and run off a 50% coupon!

I bought one and built it. My first try at one of these metal kits but I was impressed with the detail that went into it. Of course, it made for a real pain in the butt to make but I learned a lot. I think I am going to buy another one but that will paint it. They have a pic of the real truck on the package

Thanks for sharing, never saw one done. I have to ask does the turntable go in more? or is that the way it lays?

Thanks for posting the completed photo. Any chance you can take a couple with a ruler next to it?

I want to see how muc would be usable for my HO scale models.

I am going to have to seek this out. I don;t think it will end up at my Hobby Lobby.

The turntable is as low as it gets. There is a piece that you put on the underside that keeps its raised and has tabs that extend down in the hole on top of the truck and fold under the top to hold it in place and allows it to turn. The turntable turns and the ladder raises and lowers but does not extend and it will not raise and stay in place. All these pieces are flat and you have to bend and fold into shape and then there are tabs that either fold over or twist 90 degrees to attach the parts. The pics shown here with the ladder raised and turned, show a small metal tool holding the ladder in the raised position. Not part of the model.
