According to this...Looks like Greenlight is creating and all new "Fire and Rescue" series, similar to the "Hot Pursuit" series for PD stuff. They've obviously been releasing more FD stuff, but if this first series does well, hopefully they will continue it. Source was from the Manny's Diecast website..
1/64 scale Fire and Rescue Series 1:
-1/64 Lawrenceburg, IN Fire Dept 1986 Chevrolet C-20 Custom Deluxe Pickup Truck First Attack Unit with Fire Equipment, Hose and Tank--$6.25
-1/64 East Brookfield, MA Forestry 1992 Ford F-350--$6.25
-1/64 Sturgeon Lake, MN Fire Dept 1987 Chevrolet M-1008 4x4--$6.25
-1/64 Reno, NV Fire Dept 1990 Jeep Cherokee--$6.25
-1/64 Los Angeles County, CA Fire Dept 2017 Ram 3500 Dually--$6.25

One can only hope the LA County Dodge Ram is a squad.

Believe me I share your hope Stuart, but my Spidey-sense suggests it will just be the pickup painted red - hopefully I'm wrong.

Here's my guess. Knowing that Greenlight does not change much that LA County could be this with a surf board on it. I am sure the Chicago Explorer with be this Ford I believe it's being done for a 'Chicago Fire' show in Europe there's a guy that's been advertising it for pre sale for 6 months. Hey and the Grand Cherokee would look like the last one. Also a CFD Ford Ambulance. See the real picture of Lawrenceburg Pick up with tank and hose, that would be cool if they duplicate it.

I totally forgot about that body, which is strange since I have several of them
Another senior moment....

I wish they would do their "dualies" in 1/43. I got rid of the 1/64 stuff a long time ago.

Unfortunately, the utility box on their Dodge pickup is not high enough for an LACoFD squad, but it would be better than nothing.

This is good and bad news all wrapped in one! I’m excited like always for more fire equipment, but not sure totally what this line will be executed, lol.
GL had already announced a number of fire units for 2021 including the M1008 In FDNY colors with the fire equipment, hose and tank. My guess like others is it will be a generic skid unit, or one modeled after a real unit, I think the will build one skid unitit fit various pick up beds and then used as a “close-enough to the real thing” for all the brush trucks.
For LA County I’m guessing it’s just a Dodge pick up in their graphics, I think if they where doing a Squad, Patrol (light brush) or even using the service body truck, they would have made a note. I could be wrong.
I suspect East Brookfield is most likely a typo and should be F350.
I’m a bit surprised they didn’t do at least one model using the service bed body as a utility or rescue in this set of 6.
I hope I f the line seems to do well they will add some more bodies in time such as a Type I ambulance, rescue squad, brush truck and such. I also suspect these would be basic bodies and not altered to each departments customized needs.
A few years ago (2-3 now) on one of the sires there was a post about up coming GL models, some of which came through some did not. Anyway a Aerial Ladder Truck was listed but nothing has ever come of it. I’m surprised we have not seen a commercial pumper, rescue or tanker in the International chassis yet. If they do any bodies or fire apparatus I suspect it will be basic bodies / trucks with different departments paint jobs and little to no body variations. More like the old Road Champs 1/64 line as opposed to Code 3 and their accuracy. I am fine with this and do not expect crazy changes in models that cost $5-20 a piece. If nothing else GL might be offering a line that will peak interest into fire apparatus modeling as they will be priced for entry level collectors or for impulse buying. Also might offer some good donors for kitbashers, especially those starting out.
