Coming in June 2021, Tomica #145, Scania/Magirus Ladder.

Scale TBD. Also, proportions look a little funky to me. What do y'all think?

The cab looks right. The fender flairs over the rear tires are way too big. Need to be cut back about 50%. Depending on the scale the aerial platform is too klunky.

I have been a long time fan of Tomica and their models they have released.

While I am excited over a new release, I am dissapointed to see once again the amount of plastic that is used in this model as well as the solid molding of the ladder.

Tomica seemed to be the last hold out on turning the miniture die cast models into miniture die cast/plastic models :(

From what I can see in the picture they did not do a horrible job with this ...... and am happy with at least a new release :)
Additional new models from Tomica should be released before the end of the year .... including a new ambulance mold and a new fire apparatus pumper mold !

It is a nice new fire apparatus model from Tomica - great to see them still offering new models. I think the die cast/plastic is simply something that is here to stay - scary though how many are going more plastic than die cast these days. I am looking forward to the new ambulance that is said to be coming.

Pic from an eBay seller. Shows the box and the real thing.

Man, what a FAIL. They really messed up the proportions, and probably in the interest of elongating the model, to match packaging size.
