Just snagged these from Diecast Direct - 1:87/HO Scale. Pretty detailed for HO scaled vehicles. Rather pricey, too. They have Seagrave and KME engines and Ferrara trucks.

I have yet to bit the bullet. But I will. These are nice and typical of the quality seen in HO scale. Since the pan would be to strip it down and repaint, I am waiting to hear form other on how hard they are to disassemble. The Athearns were nice but too often I broke a lot of the little parts in the process. Meaning I needed 2 to make one redone model.
As for price, this is very much in line with HO models. I think too often many think smaller means cheaper.

They looks nice, I assume plastic? What is the size compared to say a code 3 model
Thanks

Nice looking models. I've noticed them over recent weeks. Might have to snag a few.

Yes plastic. It is the preferred medium for 1/87 scale. They are about 2/3 the size of a Code 3.

They appear to are a PITA to disassemble. Lots of little detail parts. Also, found out PCX87 is producing some generic versions as well

I assumed there would be a lot of little parts. I am holding off for this yellow version. I hope they do the ladder as well. Maybe if these sell well we will see the towers and tillers. They seem to be moving well.
