The models are 1/43 and are some of the most detailed models you can buy. They have been around for sometime now and have released several models over the years. During COVID and all the associated issues that bought with manufacturing etc Signal 1 dropped right off. They are now back with a vengeance. They are releasing the last of the Australian made v8 Holden Commodore Highway Patrol sedans from the states of New South Wales and Victoria. They are not cheap and are for the serious collector.

Those are really nice. The blue Commodore is especially sharp.

I wish we could get some good 1/64 Australian police cars.

I purchased the NSW version in white and the Vic Pol in grey. They both arrived this week and they are outstanding. The quality and detail is a credit to the hard work and dedication that Signal 1 have put into them. This company is based in regional New South Wales. It is run by one man.

Bruce at Signal 1 Models has announced this for release next year. It will be an outstanding replica of the Holden Commodore Ute as we call them down here. The Victoria Police used them as “Divisional Vans” The area at the rear was for transporting prisoners. This style of police vehicle is a main stay of the Victoria Police.
