Today I Finished my replica of Langley Townships Old American LaFrance eagle fire engines. These engines have since been handed down to volunteer fire departments like Erris, Clearwater, and 70 mile house. I haven't decided what door markings ill put on the piece yet so I'm leaving it blank. This truck started out as a Plano engine where it was stripped down, and then the body side cut down and rear cut down and hose bed was made higher. Stripe decals are from the Inquarters San Diego sheet and "FIRE DEPT" lettering from the La County Sheet.

Nice replica! Very neat modifications and finishing, like factory or better! Interesting how much the ALF body resembles the Pierce E-27 that Chariots of Fire is building in 1/25 scale in another thread

You are right, Bob about the body style. The E-27 rig has a stock body from Pierce. I was looking at some of their standard fare and the dimensions are identical to the Jacksonville rig. What scale are we talking here for the ALF piece? Pretty nice work.

Seems like the Inquarters decals are 1/64 scale
