Since I got the pumper finished I decided to pull this off the shelf. I will me taking a J-CAB FDNY Seagrave ladder and turning into a tilt cab quint. First off I'd like to start by saying that the SSB Resin FDNY Seagrave Ladder is outstanding and well down. That being said It was just not what I wanted for my smaller city/rural combination fire department. I will be utilizing a pump section from the SSB Resin FDNY Pumper. So big items are modify the Cab slightly and A-frame stabilizer behind the cab. Next will be the pump panel. I will have to shorten the back a little to make room for the additions and pre-pipe the waterway. The rear stabilizers will also be enlarged and pushed toward the back of the box. Should be lots of fun.

Looking forward to the progress of this build. I doubt there are many SSB kits left out there.

I was wondering what happened to SSB Resin. I never got around to buying one of their kits. I was looking forward to purchasing the tiller. When I finally got around to it they were gone.

Jamie Brown is still around (SSB Resin). He just took down the web service because of problems and stopped selling on ebay because they wanted money even when he wasn't selling anything. You can still email him directly. He has a few new pieces he is making now.

This is basically going to be the look of my build once completed. Just different lights and 100ft aerial instead of 75.

This is what I ended up with after the good idea fairy hit me. I may have accidentally gotten a center dashboard from an 06 model in the pictures. I cut out the center fire wall between the seats. Cut out the Engineers position and added an adjustable seat. I moved the rear bench further back to they almost match with the doors. I also reduced the size of the engine housing. This is what happens when you listen to the voices in your head.

That is some nice work! All of that detail stuff really pays off. Keep listening to the small voices!!
