Hi everybody,
it´s been a very long time, since I´ve posted something
But I wasn´t lazy
By request of the LAFD, historical society musem, I made a second brush hummer, which I have finished now.
Compared to the first one, I made 9 years ago (wow time passes )this one is way closer to the actual rig.
Looking at it now, I´m almost embarased with my first attempt But on the other hand it´s good to see how one evolve when doing stuff over such a long period.
Anyway, after a building time of approx. 18 month, I now present you the LAFD Brush Unit 109 Hummer.
Basemodel again was the 1:18th scale Hummer Wagon from Maisto.

... since I wasn´t able to get a sharp picture of the cabine interior (with the emergency light switch board, radio and reading lamp) through the open doors or windows, I use one shot of the modfications before instaling the roof.

I also made about 800+ pictures of the whole building progress. So if you´re interesetd I will post it here, once I have time again to reduce the "image flood"

That's very nicely done! Lots of detail and great color! Have you done any other models for the museum?
