Bit of a rarity here. An old Nypd Chevy caprice classic with a vector lightbar.
Heres a rare pic of the model i used as inspiration

Thank you. I think the NYPD only ever had a handful of these back in the day like 3 or 4. The only other time i've ever seen a vector lightbar like that on a Caprice Classic was in the movie Honey I Blew Up The Kid with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police cars. Not so sure if the LVMPD ever used them in real life but the cars themselves looked great in the movie. I might do one of those also if i can spare the cash.

Nice looking model! Great work.
The LVMPD square body caprice with the vector car is strictly a hollywood car. The Vector light's didn't show up for Las Vegas til the late 90's
Correct me if I'm wrong, But when the square body caprices were around, they were using the Code 3 LP6000.

Yep Your definitely correct. The vectors to me though do look better for some reason though. They seem to suit the square bodied caprices.

I know there weren't many Caprices with Vectors. Just the same for the LTD. Here is a PA SP LTD with the Vector bar.
