Hi everybody it´s been a while since i posted something.
While i´m working on some other, a bit more time consuming projects, i made this conversion.
The Basemodel is the Miami Dade FCV (James Bond "Casino Royale") from IXO.
For the conversion i partially painted the vehicle, added selfmade decals and used the Code 3 MX 7000 lightbar from FRR.
To enhance the appearance of the lightbar i´ve created also some interior for it.
I think it turned out pretty nice

I think you are understating the "turned out nice". A sharp looking shop. Really crisp paint separation.

The IXO Crown Vic is my favorite of 1:43 scale models. I think the others were just too far off in many ways. IXO got it right. I didn't care for the wheels, but everything else was good. I think you took a great model, and made it even better. Very nice, and great work on the lightbar as well.

I agree, for example allthough the FRR parts and basically all they’re models were excellent, the Ford Crown‘s were totally off
They looked almost like squeezed, i don‘t know why they continued the production with this mold
Whereas the IXO FCV is perfectly done, ok beside the Police steel rims
I don’t know why they raised the center of the rim and didn’t leave them flat?? The basic, non Police, IXO rims (or hub caps) look perfect though.

That's fantastic! Great looking model.
The IXO Crown Vic was just perfect. I really wish IXO would use this mold a lot more. Or release us a blank run of it.
Thanks for sharing

And for the blank FCV‘s, actually the James Bond Versions are very easily “stripped“.
The graphics are only waterslides (exept the roofnumber wich is tampoo printed) and can be scraped of just with the fingernail or carefully with a flat screwdriver.
At least here in germany you find still a lot of them and they’re around 15,-€ each
