Greenlight released a gold low rider Caprice. I did some work on it to convert it into an unmarked cruiser. Based on a PSP car that pulled me over in 1988 when they first got them. I did have a tear drop light to add to it, but as I was installing it, it decided to take flight never to be seen again. (on the plus side I did find a mirror I lost some time ago.)
A true kit bash as I needed to use a base and wheels from other models to complete this. I have a couple more of these low riders and may do another with a light or a CHP SMPV version.

Looks good Jeff. I have a spot in my shop, where things go. Many, never to be seen again. I am looking for that spot all the time, but never seem to find it.

Rich, I hear ya. I have learned a technique when I drop the small part to freeze and look down looking for the bounce. It works more often than not. This one just launched off the tweezers into thin air.

My most traumatic episode along these lines - a 1/32 scale police officer took a leap out of my hand. I bent over and successfully located him - but without the head. It literally disappeared into the twilight zine.

Great looking unmarked PA police car, Jeff! I suspect we have all had those little pieces and parts disappear into the twilight zone of our hobby work areas.

You did a great job changing it from an ugly lowrider into something decent. Great job!
