Fire Replicas Squirt

Got my rear section and boom ready for the Squirt. Using the Fire Replicas Seagrave Rescue LE, I removed the decals first. Next I removed the Hose lays from the bed and the deck gun. The hose lays pried out with some work getting an exacto knife under the bottom of each three beds. These are glued well so you just need to go slow and be patient.
Once they were out I got the two Nozzle booms from 3D Shapeways Brian Mott he has a 1/50 and a 1/43 (as well as 1/87 & 1/64) I liked the 1/50th better. I had to cut down the sides of the stem under the turn table to get the width and height I wanted. Next I rebuilt the hose bed putting down a piece of diamond plate between the two hose bed sections. I wrapped the stem of the Turntable also in diamond plate. I added the control panel and joy stick both from a FR Chicago snorkel basket.
In the picture the boom is just sitting inlace I want to decal the truck before glueing it down. I still need to add out riggers behind the rear wheels. It maybe next year before I get the decals on.
