Greenlight just put out their catalog. At the back it lists new tooling coming up. Some we have already heard about. Here is the list. I have highlighted the ones I think we will like or want the most. Or at least I will.

The one I was a bit surprised by was the Ford Crown Vic. I thought for sure we would have seen the previous generation since they did the wagon.
But it is welcomed since none of the available ones were done that well.

Let’s see if the Fire truck is code 3 size the number 131 does not seem far off

Re: New Greenlight Castings
More than a few of those will make for nice custom pieces. One has to hold their breath with the fire truck, especially being a ladder truck. Code 3 spoiled the 1:64 scale collector, and Greenlight's level of detail and quality is no where near what Code 3 was. Still, it could fill a void I suppose.

Re: New Greenlight Castings
Rich,
I agree the fire engine is an interesting one. Unfortunately my hope with it is has a decent cab and or body. Their lack of detail and especially attention to accuracy on the ambulance doesn't give a lot of hope. Also at the $10-20 price point it will be more like the old Road Champs than the early code 3s.
The Caprice and the Crown Vic are the obvious most wanted by me. The Matador could be good if it is a 4 door and not the coupe. That Blazer also has some bashing possibilities. I think we need to have a Chief Brody open top. That would lend itself to come nice CA cars. (See the man. ) ) The Workstar wrecker could be a nice tandem axle.
If I can stay on my soap box, I do wish they would recognize that people often model using their emergency models. So perhaps design them in a way to help them with the process. Their Durango on first test is a step back from the Explorer. No separate taillights are going to be a problem.

Re: New Greenlight Castings
Why they never did a Tahoe, the 91-95 Caprice, the 92-97 Crown Vic, or any of the other well used police cars is beyond me. You think that a company that's bottom line is the dollar, would have jumped on these. How many VW bugs and Datsun 510's will they sell? I have never seen folks line up on their page and ask for those, but they got em!!.

Re: New Greenlight Castings
I missed it the first time around. They are doing a 1:24 scale 1977 Dodge B100 van. If its done without custom stuff, it would be a good start for an ambulance.
