I wrote to the last week to suggest a west coast type-3 engine now that they have done the FDNY brush rig. They said they are planning a CalFire type-3 for release mid-2020. I can't wait! That should be great.

That FWD is breath taking, I may have a strong bias because i saw the real trucks back in the day, however the replica is 100% dead on. If you are a fan of classic trucks this is one not to pass up. The wooden main and ground ladder look great. Ladder 59 won't last long when it goes up on the webpage tomorrow. Its stable mate is Engine 43 which was release and sold out quickly earlier in the year.

And so ends my ability (at least for now) to own all the FDNY pieces Fire Replicas released. After purchasing the 3 BFU's and the MIRT along with one of the CFD FWD TDA's, there's just no more available cash to keep up with the release schedule. As an FDNY collector I'm happy for the number of trucks being made but just wish they had been spread out a little further apart to be able to purchase them. Still happy for FR doing well and look forward to more special service pieces in the future like perhaps an MSU or High-Rise unit.

I agree 100%. I wish they'd spread them out a bit too. We had several dry months earlier in the year. Now, they're all at once right before Christmas. But, like you, I love everything Nicholas is coming out with and wish him nothing but success.

Can't wait for the vintage CFD TDA to come but you should also check out the photo of the St. Louis Rescue on their website. The DC tower-ladder also will be nice.
