Very sad news. The FDNY, FAJ, and the fire buff world have lost a great man. I was fortunate to meet Jack when we toured the FDNY Training Facility and Library back in 2010 as part of the 1st Annual Silver City Fire Fest/2nd Annual Fireengines.net Meet. Such a gentlemen - rest in peace Jack.
