Update: in case the booms of your Franklin Mint Snorkel ever weaken, a simple repair solution has been discovered and implemented! The size of my photos makes it challenging to post them, so give a shout if I can be of assistance. I have a feeling this has never happened to anyone but me, though :roll:

As I recall from my Franklin Mint snorkel, which I displayed booms-raised for years before selling a year or two ago, the upper boom weakened over time. I used a folded piece of white cardboard to brace the thing in a raised position.
