The Mars light bar was built from scratch back in the mid 90s by a pen pal friend that I traded police car & model car photos with. This was in the days before the Internet. For the life of me, I don't recall his name. All I remember is that he lived in Nacagdoches, TX. He asked me to send him some detailed pictures of a Chicago PD Mars lightbar and a few weeks later I got that miniature version in the mail. And just like the real light bars, this mini Mars bar has been recycled and reused on several of my builds over the years.
