Los Angeles County Sheriff 1969 Chevrolet Blazer - 1/43rd Matchbox

[M1968Q]

This model started life as an orange 1969 Blazer made by Matchbox for their "Models of Yesteryear" series. It's actually a very accurate model that was easy to take apart, strip, and re-paint black and white. I did it as an ode to the Bronco used on the tv-show "240-Robert" though I honestly have no idea whether LACO had anything similar to this or not. A lightbar from IXO, spotlights and antenna from First Response, and decals from InQuarters complete the project. The third photo shows it with an IXO 1974 Chevrolet Nova that I finished a few years ago.
