Here’s a model that has been worth waiting for. Between 1993 and 1996 Chicago received 14 Seagrave Patriot 100’ rear mounts. The truck had a single rear axle and a great turning ratio for the older city streets. The new trucks were replacing a lot of the easy 1970’s trucks. It will be on the website in the morning. https://www.firereplicas.com/chicago-il/
Truck 7
In 1875 Truck 7 was organized with Engine 26 at 455 N. Wolcott Ave. After the Chicago Fire of 1871 the city was expanding West, North, and South. In 1871 the furthest West Loop company was Engine 12 at 1641 W. Lake Street. The new Fire house on Wolcott was built a mile away from Engine 12. This area was growing fast in the 1870’s as waves of immigrants were settling in this area as the factories had job opportunities that were sprouting up meant jobs. Truck 7 first motorized truck was put in service in 1915 it was a a Knox Tractor pulling a 77’ Babcock aerial. In 1970 Truck 7 had a Ward LaFrance Grove rear mount, this was their first 100’ rear mount.
In 1975 100 years later Engine 26 and Truck 7 moved into a new Fire Station at 10 N. Leavitt two block west of the United Center, which is the home of the Blackhawks and Bulls. Truck 7 has been serving Chicago for 145 years. 1996 Engine 26 was running a 1985 Federal/E-One.
Truck 15
In 1889, Chicagos annexation of 4 Towns or Villages occurred. Hyde Park which was boardered by State street to the West, Pershing Road on the North and 138th on the South along the shore of Lake Michigan on the East.
In 1885 the Village of Hyde Park became a paid Fire Department and its station was a 2 story frame fire house at 46th and Cottage Grove. Engine 1 and Truck 1 of the Village of Hyde Park were in that Fire House. When the city annexed Hyde Park, this story would become Engine 45 and Truck 15 of the Chicago Fire Department. Hyde Park was a popular suburb of Chicago and the more affluent business people who worked in Chicago lived here because of the convince of the railroad station. In 1893 the World's Fair: Columbian Exposition was held in Hyde Park. The fair in 1893 attracted 27 million people rom 46 countries to Chicago. The third star on the City of Chicago flag represents the Columbian Exposition. The second star of course represents the Great Chicago Fire of 1871.
Truck 15’s was motorized in 1914 with a brand new Christie tractor pulling a 65’ ALF trailer. That trailer was modified from a horse drawn trailer. In 1927 the 2 story frame fire house was torn down so a new 2 story brick fire house could be built. A major bond was approved in 1927 to tear down the old frame fire houses and replace them with 1 or 2 bay brick fire house. 23 new stations were built at this time. In February of 1928 engine 45 and Truck 15 moved into the new station. In 1950 the US Census had over 100,000 people living in Engine 45/Truck 7 still district as the area had a lot of apartment buildings, this is a very busy house. The 1993 Seagrave 100’ rear mount, replaced a more famous looking 1972 Mack CF/Pirsch 100’ Rear mount (not the original Back Draft rig). Truck 15 has been serving Chicago in the Hyde Park area 131 years. In 1993 Engine 45 was running a 1985 Federal/E-One.
Truck 26
In 1893 the City of Chicago was expanding further on the Westside, a new 2 story frame building was built at 4002 Wilcox, the original size of the first floor was 22x58 which was big enough for the horse drawn trucks of this era. Truck 26 received its first motorized truck in 1915. In 1904 a new 2 story brick firehouse was built alongside of Truck 26’s 2 story frame and Engine 95 was organized in the brick fire house. 33 years later in 1926 the frame firehouse was torn down and a new 2 story brick firehouse was built adjourning Engine 95’s brick build. During 1963 Truck 26 had 3,213 as the changing of the neighborhoods were occurring. In 1980 Engine 95 and Truck 26 moved into a new Firehouse at 4005 W. West End Ave. In 2018 Truck 26’s run volume was 3785, making them on of the busiest Truck companies in the city, Truck 26 has been serving the Westside for 127 years.
In 1954 Truck 26 received its brand new FWD Tiller, this rig ran was run as Truck 26 until 1967. Fire Replicas produced the 1954 FWD which has been long sold out.
Besides Truck 26 being replicated, Fire Replicas has also produced Engine 95’s Spartan https://www.firereplicas.com/chicago-fi ... engine-95/
Truck 32
In 1907 Truck 32 was organized in a brand new 2 story 2 bay fire house at 2358 S. Whipple. 1906 and 1907 were busy growth years for the CFD, equipment wise, 500 new hanging harnesses were purchased and installed for a quicker “push out”. 24 new steam engines were purchased, along with 50 new Hose wagons. 1 new aerial trailer and 7 straight frame ladders. 17 engines and 5 trucks were added to the department fleet and 16 new fire houses were being built or planned.
Truck 32 received its first motorized tractor in 1919, a White tractor pulling a Straight frame ladder that they ran until 1932. From 1932 until 1954 when truck 32 got its first brand new truck a 1954 FWD, they were always issued hand me downs. In 1996 Truck 32 received the new Seagrave. As a side note Truck 32 was one of the last trucks assigned a TDA, running a 1976 International Harvester Cargostar trucks. During 1988 and 1989 these trucks were phased out of front line to spares. They did go out with a bang as Truck 46 in “Backdraft”.
In 2011 a new firehouse was built for Truck 32 and Engine 109 at 2343 S. Kenzie Ave. Truck 32 has been serving Chicago in the South Lawndale community for 113 years.

Re: Fire Replicas Seagrave Rear Mounts
When you think it couldn’t get any better, then they come up with something like this Almost all they‘re latest releases are or were at my „to do List“!!
At least i‘m sort of glad, that they’re not build in 1:43 scale, that saves me a lot of money Allthough the price is absolutely deserved!!
