Fire Replicas, FDNY Squrt and Telesqurt are mounted the same way. Strange looking.
FDNY rigs had them mounted that way because they pulled the booster line from the rear. Not my photo, however you can see where the reel sits on the FDNY trucks. So for FDNY replicas it is accurate.

I finally got around to my hallmark store to collect my 2020 ornament. Nice piece, but interestingly enough, it was made in Vietnam vs the usual "Made in China". Having served in VN some 53 years ago, I find it interesting that they are now in the toy/replicas business. What's next, diecast??

They have been making toy/replicas in Vietnam for a while.

Many of the 3 inch Tomica diecast models are now made in Vietnam.
