Operator's side of the pump panel is done. Now it's on to the officer's side.

Got some more work done on the right side pump panel. Much less detailed than the operator's side. Just a few more items to put in place and this part will be done.

Looking Good! Time to see the Quartermaster in Central Stores and get her supplied! Or, more correctly, visit Payless for some shoelaces, LOL
Wait, there is a ladder that goes into a drop-down rack on the right side, no? Some more engineering needed for that

Yes, Overhead ladder rack that rotates downward and a full hose load covered by aluminum covers. No shoelaces, though. Sewing elastic is much better. It can be stained any color and this rig has light brown as well as red. It also has large diameter supply hoses and soft suction that I will make using yellow 3M tape that has surface texture. The sewing elastic comes in two sizes, 1/8" and 1/4" that folds nicely and has that cotton jacket look that much of today's hose has. There are also synthetic hose lines that are slightly ribbed. The 3M tape would work for those also.

The booster reel is in progress. Just some small adjustments to finish the building and then it goes to paint.

Here's what the booster reel looks like sitting in place.

What are you going to use for the hose in the bed? I'm interested for a project of my own.
Looking great as always!

Re: Jacksonville E-27 in 1/25 scale
Hi, Steven. I use sewing elastic and 3M packing tape. The sewing elastic is good for attack lines and some supply lines. When you fold the 3M tape in 3rd's it can be made to look like LDH. Here is a photo of the rig with the sewing elastic used in the trash line tray on front and in the two cross lays. I used the 3M tape for the rolled up hose in the tray below the pump panel. I'll use the same materials for the hose bed. To get the different colors for the sewing elastic (it's white in the package) I use acrylic paint diluted with water. In the case of the red hose I found some sewing elastic that was already that color. I think they called it middy tape. The sewing elastic comes in 1/8" and 1/4" widths. It needs to be stained before you attempt to put in place otherwise it expands all out of shape before it dries.
