Busy little trolls in the shops this week. Got some painting done after a bit of a hassle with static electricity and dust! Anyway, this is where we are now with still plenty to go. In the third photo, those are little magnets next to the half inch long common pins. And there is a stack of them to the right. They are embedded in the cab doors and are also used on the compartment doors to keep them closed.

One more shot with some decal work done on the hood and the windshield glass is in place. Next will be the cab interior. Glass is also installed in the body windows.

Here's a look at the interior. Windshield wipers are done and the front hood latches are installed.

VHT high heat engine paint from Auto Zone. It was the closest I could come to the real rig's color which is a bit lighter in some of the photos I have. Took a little while to set to where I could handle it without messing up the surface.

Here are some latest pics. Cab is about done except for lettering. Next up is to fill up the compartments with tools and equipment and get the floodlights done.
