I got notice the seller I got mine from has the LAPD and the other 2 should be to him by next week. Then the wait.

They look pretty good. I do wish they had a version with no front door trim. I also need to see how they fare to the GOC models.

I got my first Rollin 1/64 Crown Vic. This is the chase version done in the NYPD Auxiliary markings. I was a little worried when the box was marked LAPD and sealed. But it was the right one.

This, like the GOC model, is a great casting. Details like larger scale models. Many thought this might be a repackaged GOC, but it is a different casting. It looks amazing. Pretty much perfect. As you can see this has the later door trim. I do wish either brand offered a version without the front trim.

Shown here with the Spec Cast version that is about 20 years old, the GOC, and Greenlight to show progression. It is a bit odd that 2 different companies would offer this model so long after the real car debut.

Series 2 looks very cool. Thanks for the photos of the Aux NYPD. Shows that these Rollin Chase cars are bloody good.

Received my LAPD Rollin Chase Crown Vic today. Whilst these are expensive they are on another planet when it comes to detail and overall quality. These are brilliant little models. Here’s hoping we see plenty more releases after series 2.

Just saw on 20km Diecast Facebook page that Rollin are doing the 2005 Dodge Charger in 1/64. First release will be the car show version that Dodge released back then as a marketing version. They are also doing another Crown Vic in Atlanta PD markings.

I saw that too. The Atlanta looks sharp. I will probably bet one of the Chargers, but then I will wait to see where they go from there due to price. I suspect we will get an NYPD and probably another LAPD. That seems to be the trend.
